3E Service^® - MSDS Silver

3E Service Silver is an online (M)SDS management solution which efficiently manages (M)SDSs, produces labels for secondary containers, generates reports and much more. 3E Service Silver has a positive, direct impact on a company’s productivity, risk management, and cost effectiveness of current (M)SDS management procedures.

3E Service Silver connects the user to their own specific (M)SDS library, scanned and indexed by our team of professionals, and hosted online within the customer’s specific database. 3E Company hosts the solution, providing access to users through the company’s Internet or Intranet.

3E Service Silver is fully scalable, allowing for an unlimited number of users and site locations.

Startup is highly efficient with no installation required. For customers that require additional functionality, such as fire code classification, international capabilities, chemical approval or SARA reporting, 3E Online®-MSDS Gold or Platinum Editions are also available. As the needs and complexities of (M)SDS management grow, Silver customers can migrate to the advanced version best suited to their needs.

3E Service Silver eliminates the hours spent looking through shelves of binders and endless filing cabinets for (M)SDSs, which may be damaged, out dated or even missing. When 3E Service Silver is implemented, (M)SDSs are up to date, easily accessible and readily distributed throughout the entire company. The interface is intuitive and simple to master, so users from the production floor to management can access and use (M)SDS information efficiently. In addition to the robust and easy-to-use features of the application, 3E performs many behind-the-scene services that make 3E Service Silver a truly powerful compliance management tool.

Services

Indexation
A team of highly-skilled data processing specialists works behind the application to capture key elements from (M)SDS, enabling the users to search on the indexed fields. The data processing team uses strict quality control procedures to ensure that (M)SDSs are indexed accurately, to the customer's exact specifications. The 3E team indexes global (M)SDS in several languages and prides itself on staying ahead of clients' regulatory compliance issues.

Access
Once an (M)SDS has been indexed and audited by 3E’s Quality Control team, it is released into the customer’s database. All site locations will have simultaneous access to the same data, 24-7-365, which turns every desktop computer into a Right-to-Know EH&S workstation. Users also have access to 3E’s 24-7-365 EH&S Mission Control Center, staffed by experienced EH&S professionals, for live assistance related to (M)SDS requests, Emergency Response services and technical support. During urgent circumstances, such as an inspection or a chemical spill, customers are immediately assisted by our trained and knowledgeable staff. 

Updates and Revisions
3E’s tried-and-true best practice methodology operates on a three year cycle. Once an updated (M)SDS is obtained from the manufacturer, it is transferred to our Processing Center for indexation and made available through 3E Service Silver immediately.

Included Modules

(M)SDS Search
Cross reference up to nine search criteria using advanced search technology. Search results are returned, on average, in 3.43 seconds, regardless of database size.

Archiving
This module provides a single storage location for inactive (M)SDSs, archiving each document securely for reference by authorized users. If an (M)SDS is archived, update procedures are ceased.

Labeling
Nineteen regulatory-defined, customizable label templates (OSHA, bilingual WHMIS, EU, etc.) can be used with corporate text, graphics, bar codes and safety notes to create branded, compliant secondary container labels.

Detailed Reports
Create reports covering product lists, manufacturer lists, and more, either per site location or corporate-wide, which can be exported to PDF or Excel format.

Event Journal
Generate detailed audit-trail reports about your management system – date and type of activity, as well as the identity of the user who initiated the activity.
