3E Company®, the leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced a new enhancement to the award-winning 3E Online platform that helps customers comply with the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standard 6 CFR Part 27. This innovative new capability allows customers to compare their chemical inventory against the DHS's Chemicals of Interest List to determine if they possess relevant products or chemicals. This new functionality is integrated directly in the 3E Online platform, so customers can leverage their current Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information to the regulatory impact.
The new capability is available to all 3E Online customers. Additional features are available to users of 3E Online-MSDS Expert Edition and customers subscribing to the SARA Module. Customers using 3E Online-MSDS Expert Edition can use the regulatory impact analysis feature to continually monitor changes to the Chemicals of Interest List based on the products in their inventory. Additionally, customers subscribing to the SARA Module will also be able to compare their inventory against the DHS Chemicals of Interest List to monitor threshold levels. The content of the Chemicals of Interest List is managed by 3E Company's unparalleled team of regulatory experts, who continually monitor the List for changes and upload them on a regular basis.
"The 3E team aims to provide advanced features that mirror the latest regulatory developments," said Tamie Webber, director of product management, 3E Services, 3E Company. "Giving our customers the ability to compare their inventory to the DHS Chemicals of Interest List is an excellent example of that commitment as well as a demonstration of our dedication to helping customers address homeland security concerns while enhancing workplace safety."
The DHS Chemicals of Interest List capability is available immediately to all 3E Online users. There is no fee for this enhancement.
