Monday, August 06, 2007 — 3E Company®, the leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced a major expansion of its award-winning 3E Online®-MSDS management solution with the introduction of 3E Online European MSDS/SDS Management, a global Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)/Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management service. The Company also introduced its new 3E Online EU Labeling module, which provides multilingual access to EU labeling information. These two new solutions enable customers to streamline the management of their EH&S information and compliance requirements across global operations.

The European MSDS/SDS Management service brings the most popular features of the renowned 3E Online solution, which provides Web-based access to a customer's hazardous material inventory and associated MSDSs/SDSs 24-7-365, to global EH&S operations. Both the European MSDS/SDS Management service and the 3E Online EU Labeling module are delivered via the easy and intuitive 3E Online interface, which supports a wide variety of languages and allows users to search for MSDSs/SDSs in their local language, resulting in enhanced compliance for facilities with multilingual employees.

The 3E Online European MSDS/SDS Management service offers customers an array of innovative new globalization features, including multilingual MSDS/SDS search, whereby users can search by product name, manufacturer and internal number, in a variety of languages, including English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. Additionally, 3E Online's organization facility tree, in which each customer's database can be organized by facility and sub-facility for easy reference and access to a site-specific inventory, now accommodates a country-by-country structure for a global view of chemical inventories. The service also features a unique global MSDS/SDS obtainment service. Customers simply provide 3E Company's EH&S Specialists with a list of products and a list of locations. In turn, the Specialists contact the manufacturer to obtain the appropriate MSDS/SDS for each country in the required languages. 3E Company's EH&S Specialists regularly review all MSDSs/SDSs to ensure that only the most current sheet is being referenced.

Users of the 3E Online European MSDS/SDS Management module will also have access to the complementary 3E Online EU Labeling module, which provides multilingual access to EU labeling information based on data provided on the MSDS/SDS. Users may access this information in multiple languages as well. The 3E Online European MSDS/SDS Management module can also be used in conjunction with the 3E/Ariel™ RegImpact module, which provides access to the Ariel chemical regulatory database and an expanded regulatory impact analysis feature; the Chemical Approval module, which enables managers to approve products for each facility; and the Product Attachment module, which allows users to upload product documents, such as workplace safety documents and technical data sheets.
