• Unicode support: Supports the delivery of data in various languages.
• Generics support: ADM-EHSAP identifies regulatory requirements for chemicals that are not specifically named in the regulations, but that are regulated under a generic classification as members of over 5,000 broad regulatory classes known as "generics". Efficient decision support functionality supports making generics choices at the substance and at the regulation level, significantly reducing labor requirements for data updates.
• Support for multiple chemical and regulatory filters: Users can configure filters based on their business requirements and workflow and utilize those filters in making the process of loading data into the SAP EH&S application flexible and efficient.
• Impact analysis: For a selected regulatory filter, ADM-EHSAP allows to identify a list of chemicals impacted by regulatory changes and evaluate the corresponding data changes. The hit lists generated by ADM-EHSAP are used to drive the efficient data update process.
• Flexible mapping: ADM–EHSAP allows users to map regulations to support standard and customized SAP EH&S property trees.
  Role-based security settings. Provides multiple user access as well as a variety of user-defined security settings.
• User-friendly, personalized Web-based interface: The interface is designed to support multiple roles and to streamline the ADM-EHSAP end-user deployment.
• Open, industry-standard technology: ADM-EHSAP was built on industry-standard technology and open architecture, and supports load validation and enhanced error handling.

Ariel content has completed rigorous testing and obtained SAP integration certification through the SAP Integration & Certification Center, and Ariel product safety content is now fully compliant with the SAP-Open Content Connector (OCC) interface, an open XML-based interface for loading external content into the SAP EH&S specification database.
