3E Company®, the leading provider of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, announced today its director of product management, Prabhu Natarajan has been elected as chairman of the DGAC (Dangerous Goods Advisory Council) for 2006, after serving one year as vice chairman.
The DGAC, also known as the Hazardous Materials Advisory Council, is an international, nonprofit, educational organization devoted to promoting safety in domestic and international transportation of dangerous goods.
Natarajan was elected at the Council's recent 27th annual conference and exposition held earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia.

As chairman, Natarajan serves a chief elected officer of the council. Besides providing overall leadership to the council, he presides at all meetings of the board of directors and generally supervises the activities of the council. He is responsible for appointing chairmen for all committees and any ad-hoc committees and task forces created by the board.
