The new release of Ariel WebInsight 4.0 boasts a variety of enhanced features and functionality, making the product more powerful and user friendly. Some of the new features include:
- MyWebInsight User Interface Redesign: MyWebInsight, which enables users to save personalized queries and reports, has a newly designed graphical user interface, making query and report building more intuitive.
- Product and Query Sharing: Users within a company can now share product reports and queries.
- Easily-to-Read Search Results: Search results are presented in a tree structure that is easy to navigate, enabling quick identification of sought-after regulations.
- Option to Exclude Generics: Users can exclude generics from being returned from search results, enabling them to more easily focus on published CAS numbers. Generics are chemicals that are not specifically named in the regulations, but that are nonetheless regulated as members of over 4,700 classes of chemical substances. Ariel WebInsight boasts the most comprehensive collection of generics.
- Regulatory Lists Section Headers: Results from searches of Regulatory Lists will display helpfully titled sections, resulting in more efficient navigation through lists.
- Easy Upload of CAS Numbers: A one-click reset to clear the CAS number upload pop-up window will enable the user to clear any uploaded CAS numbers without having to manually delete each entry.
Ariel WebInsight's industry leading content will be further expanded with the addition of an International module and a Middle-East/Africa module. The International module will contain lists covering a broad range of legislation that applies globally, ranging from the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and the Stockholm Convention on Persistent organic Pollutants, to lists of substances from the OSPAR Convention, the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the North-East Atlantic.
The Middle East/Africa module will add classification and labeling, OEL (Occupational Exposure Limits), BEL (Biological Exposure Limits), banned and prohibited substances content for South Africa, Israel, Turkey and Egypt with aggressive plans for additional expansion of both countries and types of regulations.
